Its really amazing how parents get so excited and enthusistic , when the child starts school. As the kid grows older, every single parents have the hope that thier kid will be a doctor or engineer. Thus, not realizing, they tend to enforce thier interest upon the child.

Why do parents try to enforce thier will and interest on the kid?
Well, the parents don't understand if the child possesss the ability or the child has different interest that he wants to lead to. Parents start stressing the child from very young age unconciously, which hinders the child development.

Well, I think India should have much better education system. They should have different level in English, Math, Science and other subjects. In addition, they should have elective like cooking, art, music, woodshop, web -designing, journalism and etc for students with different interest.

I am not trying to denounce Indian Education System, I am just suggesting a better way to improve the society. Thus, no child should be left behind.

With care

hi munch,

its true... most parents dream a lot abt their children & sometimes rather most often throw their desires on children.... but there are cases where its the reverse.... bcoz of parents guidance they have been successful....

as i see its most often the kids who take in subjects tht are generally a rare choice of profession, who face resentment. this is primarily bcoz it arouses a lot of anxiety & uncertainity in the minds of the parents....

ur idea abt adding in a lot more into indian education is good. infact there r schools already with this concept. but the sad thing is the education there is too expensive. anyways hope it is a feasible thing in near future..... so tht every child will afford for it...

hope to c a better tomorrow soon for every kid in this world... beyond the boundaries of nation & others....

take care
Swetha

Hi...

well my dear friends i m agreed witht he fact mee too have seen that parents have many dreams about the childrens .. but in todays world children have the capability to make the dream of their parents come true.. due to good infrastucture and sources provided byt hte government and other firms .. but it is the society which make many of them bvackward and only few come out ..

I agree with the fact that many parents force thier childrens to do what they cant .. that is a wrong thing ..and ur advice for making options open is good .. and in today's world that is under progress

but i feel like india is stil backward ..cause of the society who make a child grown ..in wrong way .. for ex. a poor children who is capable but dont get any source and guidence to do anything in life , and the one belong to good family ..fall for western cultuture and make its move to the wrong way ..and in the average ..child case .. they left back dfue to curruption or .. due to this ..QOUTA system in india........

I would liek to say for having a beter tomorow ..we need to make the society aware of what is wrong and what is corect ..? they must understand the situation and must be aware of the facts unknown...

with warm regards,

~ Gaurav Bhargava ~

my parents supported me in evry decision i made.. as long as i was in my limits and there budget could support it..

look where i landed up!! lol...

CANADA!!!  lol

but whats ironic is that... dey r most probably gonna pay for my tution nd evrythn for 3 more semesters... then.. i will be able to handle everythn myself...

i thnk all of us shuld be given our freedom to chose.. again.. as long as its within bounds..

cause.. its ultimatly the childs life and destiny that v r talkin bout..

parents shuld play an active role and give there advice.. and influence dere child!!

they shuld not support a buddin bank robber!!!!
