A guy completed his M.Tech degree in Chemical Engineering from IIT and joined IBM as programmer
Another guy completed Mechanical engineering and joined Satyam Infosys
Most of  Engineers did MBA After engineering and changed their fields towards  HR , Marketing , Finance..........
Is this situation good for one country
Think about A person who did Engineering , say from IIT and joined IBM ,  his engineering skills and services which were needed for development of our country has been wasted? Isn't it???
What are the factors which make An Engineering student to think for preparation of MBA Entrance exam at time  of his Engineering curriculum  ?? in spite of going for M.TECH  Me talking about general trends ....
Why this is happening????
Does it really good for country development......??????
Should more of the management courses be added at  Engineering level to control the scene
I request u all , to think abt these general ongoing  trends and forward this topic to all engineers , engineering students , the great expert and responsible people at top level
Please do write whatever ur views are.......

Please Note : We have to look for solutions..............
At least we have to start thinking responsibly at our individual level...........

Well my dear ....Consider also a factor that a particular engineer is thinking of MBA why...it is only because may be the person is not able to understand his engineering stream clearly....that's y he/she think's toward other stream..........

dotn u guys think a bit maturely about busuiness,, do u guys think that a commerce guy can manage to effectively run an engineering company, who doesnt wanna grow in the herierchy? so u mean engineers should work under managers without engineering background, say for marketing of industrial products,, dont u think an engineer is more effective coz he understands the functionality fo the products he sells, OPERATIONS ,, all other than engineers just forget it.  well i understand ur concern about finance and HR. well no comments about finance,, coz its the cake of commerse guys,, but if others can do HR when they have no relevance, y cant engineers? and if u talk about systems,, systems applications are in all areas,, so any one is welcome in systems. and about a changing field because engineers couldnt understand engineering,, hahahahahah,, listen guys and gals the eligibility for MBA is i guess First class. and engineers do MBA after passing the first class crieteria set by the university, so do u think you are big enough to comment on the judgement made my the university? stop that crap, if an engineering student doesnt understnad engineering, then he doesnt pass engineering to do MBA. any way,, think over from a broad and matured outlook of business. Thanks and regards

yes it is concern no doubt but generally in this age of down trodden moralities in all fronts & materialistics world e'1 will think of himself & never for country leave his parents even just ot earn e'1 will rush off even from parents & as the world goes we must accept it graciously to avoid conflicts

well dear i would like to tell u one thing
i have compelted my ME and i am still searching for a job
while my friends who completed MBA are having very good job in hand from the next day of the completion of their academic term. none of them is with core engineering company.
do u think it is the only factor which leads people towards software and mba.
even today i am confused about my decision for joining ME. was it good or bad?
i do agree that managerial skills are mandator for engineer. and money matters everywhere. an engineer who is not generating profit for the organization is worthless. but i do not agree that degree of mba is sufficient to pour the skill for running business

as for my self people having more talent in other fields do not get good offers where as in software fresher gets good perks thia definately make the person thinkto shift to software for example one of my friend who has done iit (design) and afetr words pursued his phd also but still its salary is 4.5lakh but these salaries are offered to 2+y of exp people in java who has done normal engineering in software... think of this differences...
