I was initiated and the first night I became disturbed, and the next morning I left. And I was going to do it again. I am so grateful to you that you reminded me. Otherwise I would have committed the same thing again, thinking that I am doing this for the first time.' All the sannyasins of Budda and Mahavir had to pass through jati smaran, through the memory of all the past lives.

Happy n good to read posting of Shivaniji abt Mahavir n Budhha n yes right tht all had became sanyasins n had initial troubles too in getting adjusted to it but i differ tth all sanayasins of Mahavir had got jati samaran gyan which i don't know according to jain scriptures yes many many had got jati samaran gyan n above it also many had matigyan shrut gyan avadhi gyan  manprayav gyan & ultimately n final gyan of KEVALGYAN & after tht THEY all r omnipotent GOD Kevali aur Arihant n THEY would go to MOKSHA only but surely all who got diksha from HIM or other Arihant aur GAndhar aur KEvalies all would n't get all gyan n go to moksha & i don't know much deeper abt Budhha sriptures so i can't comment on them, yes during those days many many as written got kevalgyan when initiated diksha from THEM
