Access 2010: Creating a Totals Query
Added By Shivani, 09 January 2012 - 01:36 PM
Main Video
Queries can return a large amount of results, and often many of the results are identical For example, if we created a query to see which items have been ordered from our bakery, most of the items will appear multiple times. Sometimes, it's much more useful to combine the identical items into a sum, average, or count. By creating a totals query, we can quickly see the quantity of each item sold, and avoid getting repetitive results.
